Regular vs. "Green" Toilet Paper

It's not easy being "green"
My husband and I have never been particularly wasteful people but with all the hype surrounding global warming and "going green" we decided to do as much as we could to change how we treat the earth (yes, it sounds corny and all tree-huggerish but just go with it, please). We made some major changes and that's when the supposedly "small" modifications became our focus. One of those changes involved changing toilet paper. I refused to go green on our paper towels because, even though I know they go through a sterilization process, I just can't like the idea of wiping my mouth or counters with recycled paper towels - I'm just being honest.

My Chicken or Beef Vindaloo

I love the spicy chicken vindaloo from Moxie's (Western Canada) but I don't like the price, the extra calories/fat from their cooking methods and portions, nor do I particularly trust others who cook my food. So, what's a girl like me to do?
Learn to make it myself!
So, this isn't exactly the same as the restaurant version but it's close and it's yummy. Here's my recipe!

Ingredients
You will need the following:
1 TBSP (or to taste) Patak's Hot Curry Paste (or similar other brand)
1 medium onion
1/2 (each) green pepper and red pepper
Sprinkle of coconut flakes
1 TBSP minced garlic
1 TBSP minced ginger

Is Sirius Radio Worth The Money?

Before I really go into things, I just want to say that this isn't going to be a super high-tech review of Sirius Satellite Radio. Instead, in plain English (possibly even too plain) I will discuss my experience as a Sirius subscriber. Depending on the receiver you have, your experience may vary but from what I have read and heard from other Sirius subscribers, my experience is pretty normal.

Installing the Receiver
I'm not completely helpless but installing this by myself was not an option. The Starmate model came with an antenna, connecting wires and a windshield mount.

Great 100 Calories or Less Snack Foods

Low-calorie Snacking Can Include "Junk Food" Too!

Every year, thousands of people go on diets - some of them succeed but most of them fail. One of the main reasons is that the changes they try to make in order to lose weight are too drastic. If we try to cut out everything that we like, we probably will have a hard time maintaining the changes. Many experts believe that almost any food, in moderation, can be part of a healthy diet. The major problem most people have is portion control. Fortunately, there are some snack food companies that are making this a little easier.

10 Ways to Make Your Office Healthier

The Workstation

Lurking on the surfaces of your workstation are thousands of germs just waiting to find a warm place to grow - your body. There are ways to protect yourself from these critters and it only takes about 60 seconds. Keep a container of Lysol wipes in your desk drawer and every morning, before you start typing and answering calls, wipe down your keyboard, mouse (turn the wheel too!), telephone, desk surface and pens. This is especially helpful if you share a desk with someone else....

Are Weight Watchers' Smart Ones Any Good?

For decades now, millions of people have turned to Weight Watchers for guidance in weight loss. Members would have to go to meetings, weigh-in in front of everyone and have to face their failed dieting efforts not alone, but quite publicly. Don't get me wrong, there are people who lost weight with Weight Watchers. Unfortunately, their numbers are few. It's not that their products weren't tasty but they just were not very exciting. Now, Jenny Craig and LA Weight Loss have entered the mainstream and it seems like Weight Watchers realized that these heavyweights just might squeeze them out.
